2022 Carrier of the Year

BIRMINGHAM, AL – Montgomery Logistics, a full-service logistics provider, has named Melton Truck Lines, Tulsa, OK, as its 2022 Logistics Carrier of the Year.

Montgomery Logistics established the Carrier of the Year awards to recognize carriers for their consistent and outstanding value as long-term partners. The criteria to be considered include but are not limited to safety, on-time pickup and delivery, volume of shipments, communication, and customer service. These partners are an invaluable extension of the Montgomery Logistics team and provide consistent, safe, and reliable capacity day in and day out.

“Working with Melton Truck Lines has been a perfect example of the quintessential relationship between brokerage and asset fleets,” said Montgomery Logistics Operations Personnel David Blake. “The choice of naming them Carrier of the Year for 2022 was obvious from the start. From their drivers’ professionalism to their promptness and efficiency in their communication, it is no wonder why Melton Truck Lines has been one of the premier flatbed trucking fleets for years. In the future, I look forward to seeing how Montgomery Logistics can grow our relationship with Melton Truck Lines even further.”

Melton’s Cara Flynn shared her enjoyment of their partnership with Montgomery Logistics. “I love working with the team at Montgomery Logistics because of their exceptional communication skills and their ability to work through the daily challenges that come with working in the transportation industry,” Flynn said. “Our partnership has given us the opportunity to take meticulous care of both customers and our drivers.”

Melton Truck Lines and Montgomery have been partners since 2017. Melton’s team exceeded standards in 2022. Their volume of loads increased significantly and remained consistently strong, and 95% of their pickups were reported as on time, with zero claims.
